CARNY GIRLS

CARNY GIRLS

Cute white trash sisters abducted by evil carnies.

CARNY GIRLS is a horror/adventure film conceived in the mind and written for the screen by award-winning director Jared Masters, who has made seven feature films and also a documentary on sideshows in Coney Island, entitled MEET the FREAKS at DREAMLAND. He has always been an enthusiast of circus arts. His ability to ride a unicycle and juggle has found him portraying a clown in several television shows films, such as MORNING GLORY with Harrison Ford and "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23."

CARNY GIRLS summery: Two cute white trash sisters attend a small town carnival, only to be abducted by evil carnies, and forced to adapt to the brutal life on the midway as human oddities in The World's Weirdest Girlie Show.

Stars Bill Oberst Jr. ABRAHAM LINCOLN vs. ZOMBIES as Tender Wilson.

Ballyhoo
We are young, ambitious filmmakers that desperately want to get this modern day carnival tale produced. We have made several other feature films and know the ropes of filming, post-production and distribution. The film will get be available in over 100 million homes On Demand, and also hopefully gain a theatrical run. It is an outrageous and terrifying story set among a unique background of mid-west rural life. It will be entertaining, scary, fun, and work of art on a grand proportion. We have already found a carnival owner who is willing to rent out rides or let us shoot at his next set-up location for a reasonable rate.

10-In-1 Circus Sideshow
In a confusing time in Hollywood, many talented people give up so much to move here, and still aren't recognized for their craft. Lost in a meek field of few jobs and fewer credits, our production company hopes to cast light on and reward those hard working individuals. Thus far, everyone involved in this, and previous "ultra low budget" films are giving it their all, and receiving little so far in return. As much as they need recognition, they need money.

There will be hundreds involved in this production. Over 50 actors, cameramen, hair and make up personnel, production assistants, etc. It is getting tiring trying to figure out how we can make the next shoot happen.

Alive on the Inside
This is a feature film, not a short. It is very challenging coming up with the funds, when there are still many expenses. We have to rent carnival rides and build tents! plus food, gas, props, equipment, location fees, parking, ink, paper, video stock, and so much more.

We are hoping to raise a modest amount to produce the film effectively, and have a nice premiere at a theater here in Hollywood.

We would also like to be able to pay the cast and crew $100-$200 a day, for their hard work and dedication.

Once the film's complete, instead of auctioning off all the amazing props that appeared in the film, we are going to send them out as prizes for those who donated, and believe us, there's some pretty cool stuff we wouldn't mind keeping for our future museum. There will be some great conversation pieces like the spider-gill illusion, costumes/wardrobe worn by cast.

How Does She Live?
I'm too busy editing, writing, re-writing, and writing some more to have time for an elaborate cyber life. For all of you gorgeous people who do, it would be a really cool thing to post on your wall. Some folks might love to help out, or just might get a kick out of the idea. They can look for it to hopefully see the finished film next year.

A Most Wanted Man A Most Wanted Man
When a half-Chechen, half-Russian, brutally tortured immigrant turns up in Hamburg's Islamic community, laying claim to his father's ill gotten fortune, both German and US security agencies take a close interest: as the clock ticks down and the stakes rise, the race is on to establish this most wanted man's true identity - oppressed victim or destruction-bent extremist? Based on John le Carré's novel, A MOST WANTED MAN is a contemporary, cerebral tale of intrigue, love, rivalry, and politics that prickles with tension right through to its last heart-stopping scene.

Hercules
Fourteen hundred years BCE, a tormented soul walked the earth that was neither man nor god. Hercules was the powerful son of the god king Zeus, for this he received nothing but suffering his entire life. After twelve arduous labours and the loss of his family, this dark, world-weary soul turned his back on the gods finding his only solace in bloody battle. Over the years he warmed to the company of six similar souls, their only bond being their love of fighting and presence of death. These men and women never question where they go to fight or why or whom, just how much they will be paid. Now the King of Thrace has hired these mercenaries to train his men to become the greatest army of all time. It is time for this bunch of lost souls to finally have their eyes opened to how far they have fallen when they must train an army to become as ruthless and blood thirsty as their reputation has become.
