MatchFlick Expands Film News & Reviews for Movie Fans and Dating
Growing Membership Now Enjoys an In-Depth View of Hollywood and Filmmaking

SAN FRANCISCO -- August 22, 2005 -- MatchFlick, the biggest online community for movie lovers, today announced expansion of its editorial features with nine new film industry columnists, covering the best movies for dating, rising stars, and the business of movie-making, along with the site's staple film reviews and top picks for different occasions. Other new features include: Movie News, The Movie Dude blog, favorite films and actors rankings, Red Carpet membership, and more.

New editorial columns at MatchFlick include: Best Date Movies, The Business of Show, Hollywood Works, The DVD Guy, Smoke and Mirrors, Review of the Review, I'll Be Back... Again, Take One Look, and Ask a Bitter Man, by Lance Norris. Lance is a movie reviewer for WZLX-FM in Boston, author of Ask A Bitter Man: The Best of 1984 - 1999, and has written for National Lampoon and TV's Politically Incorrect. Now, members can plug into the Hollywood buzz while sharing their passion for movie genres and filmmaking, posting personal movie reviews and commentary, or planning movie dates and parties.

"Today there is so little love in the world," said Lance Norris, MatchFlick columnist. "I will do whatever I can to foster its growth -- be it through love of movies or bringing two people together. Like Will Smith (the Date Doctor in Hitch), I want to help happiness and love to find its way in this world."

"Since its inception in January, MatchFlick has grown to more than 30,000 visitors each month," said MatchFlick Founder and CEO, Seth Leonard. "We serve the real need for enthusiast-based interaction and dating, and will continue to innovate new features that add value for our popular movie fan community."

The 'Movie News' section offers updates on new and upcoming films, as well as celebrity and movie maker rumors, while 'The Movie Blog' is one dude's take on the movie world. Besides new in-depth reporting on a wider range of movie-related topics with unique perspective, MatchFlick is the best place to make friends and to find a date for the movies. The new 'Red Carpet Membership' optimizes the search for other members with similar interests and movie favorites; the 'Showtimes' section offers members custom local showtimes for the movies they want to see; and the 'Most Popular' section shows the favorite film and actor rankings among members, men and women, and geographic areas.
