Jesus Marty is SHORT !!

Standing in at only 5' 4" tall, Michael J. Fox at one time was one of the hottest actors around. During the 1980's he was on the Emmy award winning show Family Ties and starred in two HUGE films being Teen Wolf and of course....Back to the Future.

What will Fox always be remembered for? Well for 90% of the world it will be his role of Marty McFly in the Back To The Future films. Do I think that he was the best Marty McFly there could have been? NO.... I think that he just was hot and had the right type of humor and mannerisms for that character.

I don't think Fox is an outstanding actor by no means, but he does his certain roles very well. To me he should have always been a Co-Star and not the Star of a film. He is a better character actor then leading man.

I have a geeky love for Back to the Future which makes me like him way more then I probably should or would if it were not for that. Other then the Back to the future films I cant think of any other movies that he has been in that I really like. Teen Wolf to me doesn't hold up today, Poison Ivy is fun to watch but never more then once every couple of years, SADLY enough I would say after BTTF I probably have watched Doc Hollywood more then any other Fox flick.

Doc Hollywood was a rough film for Michael. During filming is when he first noticed signs of a disease that was later diagnosed as Parkinson's Disease. Five years later Michael had a hit TV show called Spin City which he had to leave in 1996 because his disease took the best of him.

Some interesting facts:

For a short lived career he made plenty of money, in 2008 he and his wife purchased a $6.3 million dollar mansion in New York.

He met his wife on the Family Ties set.

He shares a birthday with Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman.

I liked him as Dr. Kevin Casey on the few episodes of Scrubs. His character was a obsessive compulsive with these nervous twitches. I am not sure how much of it holds true to real life, but I th8ink we all have some OCD tenancies.

I am just not into television like I am movies so I have little knowledge of most shows....for example I have never seen ONE episode of Scrubs.

I tended to watch the typical 80s sitcoms when they first aired. I am now pretty picky about what shows I watch, most of which can be seen online so the TV is primarily for DVDs and Wii.

Well thats the thing...when I was a kid I watched a sh*t load of TV shows.....Macgyver, 90210, Ateam, Quantum Leap, Melrose Place, Wonder Years, Roseanne, Mamas Family...etc......

I just cant get into the new stuff......I still watch the Home Improvement and Roseanne marathons on Nick though..
