For the purposes of this review of Kevin Smith, I am monitoring him as the director of the following seven films: Clerks (1994), Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997), Dogma (1999), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Jersey Girl (2004), and Clerks II (2006). I have always been a huge, huge fan of Kevin Smith. I find his films and interviews witty, intellectual and insightful. He has developed that goal of being a cult superstar and turned that fame there into a much wider audience.

Some people would definetly associate Smith with movies with silly jokes and immature humour....

Kevin Smith was the wonder child of making a cult classic on very little money and marketing himself to the hilt. He has a very dry sense of humor that may not be for everyone but I don't think it fair to lump him into the speaker for the slacker generation. He is one guy that can do it all (write/direct/act) and at least...
