WILLIAM SHATNER was born on March 22, 1931 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
SHATNER originally trained on stage as a classical, Shakespearean actor, but he soon branched off into work in mainstream films and TV. His screen debut was in the 1958 film THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV. SHATNER played the brother Alexei.
