"Arrested"still in Development?
After months of rumours and speculation, it appears that the late, great Fox TV series "Arrested Development" is closer than ever to moving to the big screen. Creator Mitch Hurwitz and director Ron Howard have been on board for several months and, according to recent interviews with Hurwitz, all but one of the original cast members have agreed to do the film. The lone holdout appears to be "Superbad" and "Juno" star Michael Cera, who got his start on the critically acclaimed but underwatched show. Has Cera gotten too big for his unflattering yellow track shorts? Fans of the series are hoping he will change his tune, with several fan sites admonishing Cera to "stop being a sissy" and join the cast. Should no agreement be reached, it is unclear whether the role of George Michael Bluth would be recast or written out of the film version.
