Jessica Simpson As Bond Girl?
In a story about her recent separation from husband Nick Lachey in Us Weekly (yes, I read it sometimes), the magazine notes that Jessica Simpson is in talks to play the next Bond Girl in 2006's CASINO ROYALE. Quote: "'It would be very good,' Variety TV editor Josef Adalian tells Us. 'She's hot and seductive, which is what you want from a Bond girl.'" Oh how I hope this does not work out.

Trailer For MIAMI VICE

Next for Peter Jackson?
So KING KONG has finally hit theaters, a modern-day masterpiece that proves Peter Jackson is a big player and here to stay. What's next on his agenda? In a change of pace from his recent spate of blockbusters, Jackson and his creative partners, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens, will make THE LOVELY BONES. Based on the best-seller by Alice Sebold, BONES is the story of a fourteen year old girl who is raped and murdered, and then as a ghost, watches how her family and loved ones, as well as the murderer, go on with their lives. This story at E! Online gives some details on their purchase of the book's rights, nearly a year ago.
