Movie Review by Movie Addict
August 29th, 2007

Be a man, not a guy

D.C. (Amy Brooks): Lloyd, why do you have to be like this?
Lloyd Dobler (John Cusack): 'Cause I'm a guy. I have pride.
Corey Flood (Ione Skye): You're not a guy.
Lloyd Dobler: I am.
Corey Flood: No. The world is full of guys. Be a man. Don't be a guy.

That was another incredible line: "I gave her my heart and she gives me a pen." You could just feel the pain. I watched this again tonight and was really moved. Cusack was magnificent. Maybe I need to watch more of his movies to get some tips.

Ione Skye was so much more than "Girls in Prison." She really astounded me and was so sweet. She has that Drew Barrymore smile.

I really like Lili Taylor, too. She really played a great part.

All in all, I have to say that this was one great movie.
