Say Anything (1989)

The John Cusack teen film..
"Say Anything" directed by Cameron Crowe as decieving qualities. It is a funny film, as a matter of fact it is a very funny film. But it also is a film of geniune emotional resonance.
It is the story of Lloyd Dobler as played by John Cusack and Diane Court as played by Ione Skye. Their relationship with each other is one of stark funny contrast, sweet intentions. and gender role reversals that actually seems sweet and realistic.
It is a film about the scary time in life between highschool and the rest of your life. The questions the film hints at and the answers that it never gives make it one of the best teen films ever made.

| I agree with Zara. John Cusack was adorable in this, the way he loved that girl. |
