It's dated, but it never gets old
Ok, so the fashions, the hairstyles and the soundtrack are horribly outdated. The thing about this movie that will never grow old is its fantastic sense of adult humour. And by that I'm not referring to gross out jokes or talking in depth about sex acts. In fact, one of the sexiest things about this movie isn't seeing Alec Baldwin at his physical prime holding a stuffed animal over his crotch or even Melanie Griffith vacuuming in the nude. It's when she looks at Harrison Ford and not so lucidly proclaims that she's got a "head for business and a body for sin."
Sigourney Weaver takes the cake as the boss and remains one of my all time favorite female comedic characters ever. She's mean, she's nasty and yet she's learned to work her feminine wiles on men to get them to do what she wants. It's a delight to watch her vamp up the screen even as much fun as it is to watch Melanie Griffith do one of the only good things in her career.
This is possibly one of the last times that I think Harrison Ford was still hot, right before he hit that old man stage where everything started to wrinkle and sag, so I love to look at him as well.
A great tale of working your ass off and finally seeing it come to fruition. Thinking about this movie makes me want to watch it again.

| I haven't seen this movie in a long time, but being a real big fan of Ford's I still have fond memories of it. |
