It'll Put Hair on Her Chest
Why this movie didn't do better at the theaters is beyond me. Released at a time when Hobbit looking creatures were popular (although not the cultural juggernaut that they've since become), telling a fanciful tale of a little baby destined to bring together medieval communities, WILLOW featured a supremely hot looking Val Kilmer at the pinnacle of his hotness.
Although perhaps I'm the only girl out there who thought that the long hair and desheveled appearance was attractive. But I digress...
The character of Willow is played by Warwick Davis, best known for being the Leprechaun in that series of flicks, although he was a pimply faced teenager at the time that this movie was made. He is a wanna-be magician who is given the task of returning the errant baby to where she belongs and away from his village which just wants to live in little people peace and harmony.
If you liked The Lord of the Rings movies, you'll enjoy WILLOW. If you're one of the uptight jerks who refers to The Lord of the Ring Movies in abbreviations (TLOTR - please, people. If you're saying it that often that it needs to get abbreviated, it's time to give that disc a rest and find a new obsession) then you might not.
I personally love Midgets. Well, I love my Midget. Wait.... that's not very PC of me to say.
Ah, f*ck it.

| Also should be noted that any type of morphing effect used in films today was spawned from Willow which morphing was invented for. |
