A Hidden Gem

If you haven't heard of this one you're truly missing out on one of the best flims that stayed pretty much off the radar. Those that know the work of director Roman Polanski will wonder how they missed this tale of mystery.Add beautiful Paris as the backdrop and you have the making of great american film with a strong forgein feel.Harrison Ford gives one of his best performances as a desperate husband whose wife suddenly dissappears a mid a trip to France.Anyone who is a fan of Ford will truly enjoy this one for it is his character that carries the film.Polanski skillfully plots out a story that becomes all too realistic, then twists and turns with each manipulation. He leads you then allows you to stray off on your own only to be drawn back to his conclusions.....afterall that's the whole point isnt it?
