Well Swayze swept me off of my feet!
This is a movie about a 'nice' family that vacations every year in the Catskills. The youngest daughter being restless and the older daughter more the popular (annoying) outgoing type. Baby (the younger daughter played by Jennifer Grey) is bored and stumbles upon an underground type of dance where some of the seasonal employees at the resort are doing some drinking and dirty dancing. Needless to say she's intrigued, especially after seeing the gorgeous Johnny Castle (Swayze) doing some showstopping grinding with...well...with several partners, including Baby.
I wont go on to tell you how it progresses, because I really just want to encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to go get it, because it truely is an awesome movie and sexy story. You wont be disappointed.

You sap! This movie (along with BEACHES and PRETTY WOMAN) gets on my last nerve because the first roommate I had when I moved out would watch them ALL THE f*ckING TIME.
It's just an OK movie with some great music to me now. |

| This was my fave movie when I was like 11 or 12.....good ole Pat sure did know how to rock thoes tight high waisted pants. |
