Movie Review by Tim

I said,

Freddy Krueger is my favorite all time horror icon. When I was a child I knew all of the Nightmare on Elm Street films like the back of my hand. After a strong first film, Nightmare 2 came out and about ruined the franchise. Then thankfully they were able to pull it together for Nightmare 3 which I think is just as good as the first film.

I like it that Nancy was back in this one now older trying to help the current teens that Freddy was after. I also think its cool that is the Nightmare film that introduced Hypnosil, a so-called dream suppressant that played such an important role in Freddy VS Jason years later.

The coolest story that I have to tell about this film is that when I was younger my mother would not allow me to watch Rated R films. I have an older brother that was into Freddy as well and he let me watch this one with him while my mom was taking a nap one day. Just as the scene with the nurse and Joey came on my mother walked in and saw nothing but a big set of knockers on TV and I got in tons of trouble. Yep just my luck.

This film has one of the most evil Freddy's in it......Freddy is always Freddy but he is a little different in each series wether it be a change in his makeup, glove or dialogue. I really like the vibe of this one it seems that it was trying to again be a true horror film.

There is some really great quotes from this one......"Welcome to prime time b*tch" , "This is your big break in TV", You look tired Will, why don't you sit down" ..........Hell I could go on forever....

I was the biggest freddy fan when I was a kid, I first saw Nightmare on Elm Street at the tender age of 7 and was hooked ...I just love Robert Englund.
