Timeless Classic

The Back To The Future trilogy is without a doubt, one of the most popular sagas in the history of cinema. But what makes this saga such a classic?

First of all, the script is pure brilliance, it would be incorrect to say it's underrated but it definitely doesn't receive all the praise it should, mainly because this movie is a sci-fi comedy and the AFI still doesn't include it in the "best films of all time" list.

Can a sci-fi comedy have a freakishly original, inventive, and well-constructed script? Yes, it does and this film is perhaps the best proof of that.

A film of this magnitude is not done nowadays, that can combine a masterful script with truly hilarious comedy and make it work beautifully, this movie has memorable characters, memorable scenes and memorable dialogue, it's one of the best achievements in filmmaking, so it's not just a comedy from the 80's, it's a classic and should be ranked as such.
