Movie Review by Terrence
May 22nd, 2007

It will never end...

Were you ever pushed around by a bully or felt misunderstood by your parents? These of coarse are classic motifs in literature (especially childrens) that are constant.

'The Neverending Story' is a film about a boy who gets thrown in the trash can everyday on the way home from school. Sebastian played by Barret Oliver is boy who lives in a dream world were the bully's can't mess with him and there are people just as strange and unique as he is and the strangeness is ok.

Sebastian comes across a book that tales the story of a mighty warrior and his quest to save his world.

This movie is an afternoon delight and an evening of good memories. Memories of a time when the idea of playing hookie from school to read a book seemed ok.

There probably aren't that many people who remember days like that left.
