Classic
Oh god did I love this movie when I was a kid. The sequels were all pretty lame, but the original was pure magic. You are transported to a fantasy world where a boy must fight through many challenges to save his world.
To be honest it is not the plot that has carried with me through the years, but the images. Flying on the back of a dragon; a little boy reading as his thoughts come alive in another world.
This movie is about the magic of reading and the possibilities that our minds are capable of.
Oh, it takes me back...
