Freaky!!
Watching this film now, its a little bit corny. 23 years later, this film looks like a low budget new wave indie film that really sucks. Except this movie is good. Freddy Krueger is a freaky guy, me and my buddy argue whos better, he argues Freddy and I argue Jason.
Freddy Krueger, the stuff that nightmares are made of. When young Nancy has been having a series of nightmares, she gets suspicious of something. In her dreams she sees a scary character with a badly burnt face, a hat, a green and red sweater and a pair of razor blade gloves. Now teens on Elm Street start dying....in their sleep.
Heather Lagenkamp plays our lead character of Nancy. She is a very good young teenage actress. She has kind of this high pitch sound in her voice which majes her screams scary. I believe that this movie is one of the first films that Johnny Depp has played in. He does a good job with acting and you can tell he has a career ahead of him.
I didnt know that Freddy bled green blood!!!Weird!!! There are a few scary sequences in this classic, but they are cheap.

| Freddy is probably the most durable horror movie monsters. I still love this one. Check out Wes Craven's New Nightmare from 1994. It is a must see. |
