War Games (1983)

Lame
Ridiculous and dumb movie from the era where computers were first being introduced to the mass public and thus fears became all about them taking over our lives and, of course, our defence.
Matthew Broderick stars as a teen who just happens to man the National defence system's war game, making the army think that the Russians have attacked when they really haven't.
Ridiculous journeys to the defence system, to Seattle to find the game's creator only prove how silly this movie is.
The romance between Broderick and Ally Sheedy is sweet, but the movie should have focused on that rather than the stupid idea that almost causes a war.
Dumb.
