Movie Review by Zara

Guido the killer pimp!

More people like this movie than have actually bothered to watch it since the first viewing they had when they were younger. It's interesting how people have this familiar sense of movies that they haven't seen in years. Not that I'm not a victim of it as well, but I find it most suspect with RISKY BUSINESS.

The story of an over achiever who wants to get into a good college and the empty house that he enjoys when his mom and dad are on vacation. His friends decide to try and hook him up with an escort service. To me, that's creepy enough already. The first girl doesn't pan out like he'd hoped but the second one just so happens to be a beautiful young blonde who takes a taxi out to the suburbs (Really? They do that?), f*cks his brains out (and so dramatically, because all hookers are into the sex) and then stays until the morning. (Um, as Charlie Sheen once said, you don't pay them for the sex... you pay them to leave.)

Alright, so it's already implausible. When the young guy gets mixed up with the girl's pimp (because a pimp would have paid for the taxi ride out to the suburbs. WTF?), the expensive car of his father's gets damaged and he must figure out a way to pay for the repairs, what's a young entrepreneur to do? Run a brothel, but of course! But not after f*cking that hot blonde chick on the train.

There are elements of this movie that make it funny and enjoyable enough to garner three stars. However, for all of those people who remember this movie in a favorable light, I ask that you watch it again. It won't have the same sheen it once did. Trust me.
