Movie Review by Lisa

What!.....where the hell is Michael Myers

I remember first watching this movie when I was about 8 and at the end of it thinking "I don't get it...isn't Michael Myers the killer". Why John I'd cry, why did you abandon our beloved masked serial killer for a sh*tty plot about f*cking masks.

Thank God Mr. Carpenter learnt from his mistakes after fans slated Halloween 3 and he brought back Mikey in Halloween 4.

So as I've stated there is no Michael Myers in this movie (booo). Instead we have a crazy toy maker and owner of the Silver Shamrock Corporation who installs microchips containing fragments of a boulder from stone henge into children's Halloween masks. The Silver Shamrock TV add encourages the children to spend Halloween in front of the TV to watch for the special Silver Shamrock show, which will trigger the chips and kill all the kiddies.

Hmmm ok so maybe if they hadn't called it Halloween 3 I might have had a little more respect for it as a horror flick...But they did and I can't get past that, as far as 80's horror film go its not the worst.

But shame on you John Carpenter for deceiving my 8 year old self by calling you film Halloween 3 and leaving out the man f*cking character.

Actually Carpenter didn't have anything to do with this film or Halloween 4 and he only got credit as a character creator on 5, 6, and H20. This is a prime example of what happens when someone tries to capitalize on a popoular series without the same vision. You can blame Tommy Lee Wallace for this horrible film.
