Movie Review by Zara
April 8th, 2007

This was funny?

I never really found this movie to be as funny as most people did. It was mildly amusing at best and some of the better moments in the movie don't belong to its star. Murray was locked into being as outrageous as possible by the time that this movie was made, so while the camera focuses on him, he's still more annoying than amusing as far as I'm concerned.

I think this is the movie where you first get to see Sean Young, kicking off a decade long argument over whether or not she was hot. I tend to land on the not hot side, that is... until she got older and developed a sense of humour about her reputation to be an unnecessary diva. (Think ACE VENTURA.)

Personally, I always preferred Harold Ramis and John Candy in this flick than Murray. Their roles were stronger despite not having as much relevance as Murray's was supposed to have.
