Movie Review by Melanie
February 1st, 2007

This is one of those movies that warms you from top to bottom. I was raised watching Disney movies and that is probably why I am so partial to them. This movie is so wonderful for children to watch. Disney just rereleased it, and I am continuing the tradition with my boys.

There is something silly, but moving about the Fox and the Hound. I find it funny when animals are given human emotions, but I still love it. The irony of the fox and hound becoming best friends, and then later being pinned against each other is sad. My heart goes out to the two, who wanted nothing more than each other's friendship.

This is one of those movies that everyone should see. It is also important to remember that no matter who we are, and what we are supposed to be doing, we have the choice. I have seen this theme coming out a lot lately, and it is important. We need to realize that we are not being forcefully driven by others, but rather we are letting them control us. We alone are responsible for our actions, and the effects they have on those around us.
