Good Ole Sally
The always-over-the-top Sally Field stars as the title character in this film about unions in the South and the lengths that people had to go to so that they could recieve benefits and the like. The topic has been covered in other, better films here, but there is something so deliciously and uniquely 70's about this film and the tense relationship between southern Norma and Jewish union man Reuben (Ron Leibman). It is also nice to see the reason why Beau Bridges was cast in movies, back then he was kinda hot!
