Halloween (1978)

It was the boogeyman.
John Carpenter's classic is definitely a scary film and a real treat.
I will always think of Jamie Lee Curtis as that hooker with a heart of gold in Trading Places, but it was fun to see her as Laurie in her first film. She did a great job of fighting off the bogeyman.
And there is P.J. Soles (Death by Engagement, The Devil's Rejects) that i remember from Private Benjamin. She was also great as Lynda:
Lynda: It's totally insane. We have three new cheers to learn in the morning, the game is in the afternoon, I have to get my hair done at five, and the dance is at eight! I'll be totally wiped out!
Laurie: I don't think you have enough to do tomorrow.
Lynda: Totally!
And, there is Ernst Stavro Blofeld, I mean Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence) in his first "good guy" role.
Enjoyed it immensely, and plan to see the rest.
