Grease (1978)

Look At Me, I'm Stockard C.
I am a huge fan of 'Grease'. I pretty much know every word to every song and every line, dance routine backwards and forwards. It is one of the most entertaining, fun and catchy movie musicals of all time.
It is the story of young love between the baddest of badasses and the prissiest of prisses in the 1950's. The overall moral of the story seems to be that one should abandon all their beliefs if they are ever going to catch the one they love, or maybe it is that we must sacrifice a part of ourselves to be able to welcome someone else into our hearts, or maybe it is that Olivia Newton-John looks really good in spandex.
Whatever the moral, the standout of this film is Stockard Channing as Rizzo, the b*tchy queen of the 'Pink Ladies' who gets the two best songs of the film and is entertaining from start to finish.
So grab a seat, pop in the DVD and fall in love with Danny Zuko all over again!
