Woody Allen's Best

Woody Allen's best film follows a couple as they get together and begin to grow apart. Never before or since has Allen gotten to understand women as he does here.

Diane Keaton gives her most memorable performance as Annie Hall. She is scared and confused, but also very passionate and lively.

The scene with the lobsters is one of the most often quoted, but I remember best the scene wherein Allen and Keaton are having a conversation but the subtitles are telling us what the subtext is.

Allen's most playful, lovely and telliing film about humanity, but most of all: woman.
