Movie Review by Kenny
August 7th, 2008

First of all, this film in my opinion is the greatest american made horror film ever. None of the other parts nor the remakes doesnt even compare, Although part 2 is a great sequel it is campier than the original it is still a great sequel. The film is very gritty almost like a documentary feel to it. Tobe Hooper will never again come close to a movie as terrifying as this film. To this day I still have nightmares from the film and no other film has ever affected me the way texas has. If youve never saw this film and you are a horror film fan, you need to see this, you wont be let down.

I do have a soft spot for this movie, it's a classic.... however I found it more amusing than scary.
