Movie Review by Melanie
February 2nd, 2007

This is my favorite of the Godfather movies, by far. This movie acts as the prequel and sequel to the Godfather. You are introduced to the young Vito, at his father's funeral and you accompany him on his journey to the States. At the same time, you watch Michael expand the family.

I think that the main reason I love this movie so much is because of Robert Di Nero. I love this man. He is a very strong, gutsy actor. I have no idea what he is really like, but I know that if I ever saw him, I would be conflicted as to whether I would give him a hug, or hide.

This movie, much like the original, is right at the heart of the largest mob family in the country. It is easy to feel for what they are going through. It also helps to show the audience that they, like the rest of the country, are really just trying to make a better life for themselves and their children.

Again, another must see.
