One of the Best Musicals Ever
One of the best musicals ever.
If you like musicals and historical epics, this is the film for you.
It follows a Jewish family torn apart by war, love, marriage and poverty, but above all this is a story about forgiveness and the stuggle of modernizing one's beliefs and values.
Topol is a superstar as Tevye, he is the narrator of the film and he keeps it rolling with his charm and magnatism. Everytime I have seen this performed on stage I have compared the Tevye to Topol and they have never stood up to the challenge.
You cannot overlook this brilliant piece of film history.
