Movie Review by Misty
July 9th, 2007

she lived with no other thought...

Than to love and be loved by me. Crazy! Crazy, I tell ya!

This movie was appealing to me...well...because it had my name in it, really. I had a recommendation to see it from a friend and I usually listen to recommendations, so I added it to my Q at netflix and pushed it to the top of the very long list. I watched it yesterday and honestly didn't think I'd like it. How close-minded of me! I didn't think I'd enjoy it for the simple fact that I HATE western movies with Clint f*cking Eastwood and I know this isn't that, but I'm just turned off by him after having to watch those western movies with my g-ma. Don't ask me why, I don't know, it's just not my thing.

Having said that, I loved this flick! It was pretty darn good. I mean, of course, it was a little old and the date showed in it, but I'm finding myself more and more attracted to older movies. New ones are flashy, but few have substance. This one rocked my socks off.

The story of a notable DJ with an addiction of women and a soft poetic voice. The mistake was using a crazy game in a bar to attract a woman that was already way too attracted to him in the first place, but she was almost as smooth with her words as his voice was on air. Only to turn into a raging lunatic. You think Fangirl is bad...sheesh. ;P

I kept wanting someone to call the cops on this crazy b*tch, but each time she did something that seemed just sweet enough to cover up her psycho behavior. I just really dug this flick and if you haven't seen it I'd strongly recommend it! :)

You totally don't have me beat on queue length. :) Every time I watch a few, I'll add ten more.

I haven't been adding very many, because I want to get some of them watched before I add more, but I never turn down a recommendation. ;)

Glad you liked it.

Now, get over your Clint hating. Watch: Tightrope, Pink Cadillac, Every Which Way But Loose, and Heartbreak Ridge.

You have your orders.

I'm on my way to netflix to add them right now...

Thanx! :)
