The Greatest Twist Ending Of All Time

Planet Of The Apes is a classic in every sense of the word, it's a sci-fi film with enough adventure, suspense and interesting characters to leave a young and a mature mind satisfied.

The story is known world-wide, Taylor (Charlton Heston) is an astronaut who gets stuck with two members of his crew in an unknown planet where apes are the rulers and humans are voice-less slaves.

Beyond the philisophical point that the film sets, about evolution and mankind...the film is just darn entertaining today as it was back in '68.

The apes are fun to watch and the whole ape civilization and traditions are absorbing, an amazing fantasy world that will especially fascinate sci-fi fans.

And let's not forget what is probably the greatest twist ending of all time, yes, and I am not exaggerating, you can say Fight Club, The Usual Suspects and Sixth Sense had all pretty good twists, but don't overlook the fantastic ending of Planet Of The Apes...yes, it was definitely more shocking back then than it is now, but that is no reason to call it less important.
