Still the best Batman movie out there...
The plot for this involves a gathering of the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, and the Riddler. They devise a plan to kidnap the members of the UN Security Council. Along the way they taunt Batman and Robin with ridiculous riddles and the penguins disguise makes him blend right in.
The writing for this movie is great. Not necessarily the plot in general. But the dialog is done really well. There is no shortage of puns. Or slapstick for that matter. Most of the humor is very dry. Which just makes it that much better.
If you want to see a serious Batman movie, maybe you should check out Batman Begins. Which is also really good as well. And the first Tim Burton Batman is alright.
Bottom Line: Just an all around great movie and it still looks good 40 years later!
