A BOY'S BEST FRIEND IS HIS MOTHER

Favorite Movie Quote: "I think that we're all in our own private traps, clamped in them, and none of us can ever get out. We scratch and claw, but only at air, only at each other, and for all of it, we never budge an inch."

I believe that the movie PSYCHO would've never been made (as it so impressively stands) had it not been for ALFRED HITCHCOCK. PSYCHO was certainly a risky movie-project for any Director to tackle considering its horrifying subject matter (on various levels), and the year (1960) that it was released.

And, it took someone with HITCHCOCK's skills and expertise, as one of Hollywood's best Directors, to pull it off so brilliantly.

PSYCHO is, without question, the great Grand-Daddy of all Slasher Flicks. 50 years later and its excellence has yet to be surpassed. Its shocking story never once misses a beat.

I sure would've liked to have been around at PSYCHO's original release. This flick must've, literally, floored the entire movie-audience back then. No one could've possibly been prepared for the sheer terror that PSYCHO so skillfully generated. Prior to its release nothing, absolutely nothing, like it had ever been filmed before.

Happy Halloween To One, And All.....
