I haven't seen Doris day in a film in ages. She is just too sweet for my tastes. Being a diabetic, I have to be careful of too much sugary goodness.

I heard an NPR interview with her the other day. She discussed the song, Que Sera Sera, which she really didn't like. It is funny that it won an Oscar, and became her signature. I used to play my 78 with the song over and over when I was young - until I broke it one day. Haste makes waste they say.

She was not too sugary in this film, and she was perfect paired with James Stewart. Two great stars and a Hitchcock tale; what more could one want?
