Movie Review by Shannon
November 30th, 2012

MY GRADE: B.

The first half is flow but it picks up in the latter half. In fact, it probably isn't until the last third of the tale that I felt this got its momentum. That's right. I'm actually criticizing a Hitchcock movie. Gasp!

Starring Jimmy Stewart and Doris Day as a couple traveling in Morocco when their son is abducted by people with a bigger plan. Some fun musical sequences from Doris Day most especially "Whatever will be, will be (Que Sera, Sera)".

This was a remake of the 1930s film of the same title and also directed by Hitch. It won the Academy Award for Best Song in its year.

SOUND/MUSIC: B to B plus; CHARACTERS/DIALOGUE: B; STORY/PLOTTING/EDITING: B minus; CINEMATOGRAPHY: B; OVERALL GRADE: B; WHEN WATCHED: end of November 2012 (second viewing).
