Funny substitute to the original

Favorite Movie Quote: ""wash your winky.""

Dudley Moore is a classic. The original Arthur is a classic. This update does not have the same lightening in a bottle, but it does provide some great laughs. Arthur's relationships in the movie are paced well and believable. If every adult doesn't leave this movie wishing they had their very own Hobson, are crazy. Jennifer Garner gets to play against type and Helen Mirren once again proves why she is the Queen. Don't compare it to the original and you will enjoy it. Russel Brand continues on his quest to dominate everything. This week alone, he was on the Kids Choice Awards and American Idol. As Arthur, Brand brings a lighter side to his normal manic delivery. Who knew he was capable of such depth. While you may jones for a little Christopher Cross, Brand and company manage to entertain throughout. If I had any gripes, it would be that many of the laughs were seen in the trailer and that I had to endure Nick Nolte and his gruffness.
