Movie Review by Martin
March 31st, 2011

Maybe I feel the need to stick up for this one a bit, seeing it later than most, who are getting stuck into how bad it is. Or maybe I really didn't think it was that bad. Who knows?

OK, for one thing, this is defiantly a film you go too see where you leave your brain at the door. If you want a meaningful important film from this your not going too get one. Yes, it's a war movie. But a war movie featuring ALIENS! I wasn't expecting "Saving Private Ryan" from this and didn't get it.

What I personally found bad about this unpopular flick was the last 20 minutes or so. Up until then I was actually enjoying it. So what if all the characters are as "Cliché" as most critics are saying (I personally hate the word "Cliché" as I'm pretty sure you can find clichés in everything, even the best off movies) the films action packed, never boring, and has aliens and their technology that have at least had some thought put into them. Films biggest fault I found was how cheesy it was. But again I was willing too let that go until the god awful last 20 minutes or so upped it.

Yes the ending (If you can even call it that) is pretty bad. But overall, if your looking for something loud and explosive like I sometimes am. Look no further.

Now you've really got me wondering what sort of a rating you'll be giving SUCKER PUNCH, when you finally see it.

Sucker punch could go either way too be honest. Although when someone brings it up and says it looks ace, i'm the one who says that it probably isn't.
