A Star is Born (1954)

A Classic
Forget all the the other versions. Get 'Evergreen' out of your head. This is the pinnacle of chick flicks. Judy Garland is at her most emotional confused state and yet delivers her best song ('The Man That Got Away') and performance of her career. James Mason is smarmingly excellent. Some of the film is choppy, but their chemistry is undeniable and you will cry, again, like a tiny little baby.
