Movie Review by Zara
November 8th, 2009

What a boring drag of a movie. This isn't a romance, as the poster would like to lead you to believe and it's not a light weight comedy either. Instead, the movie chooses to try and trick you into believing that it's unique by having a widower take his plight and turn it into profit by creating a system for which people can get over the death of loved ones.

Yeah, real funny stuff.

The main thing that I can say was a positive in the movie is such a moot point (the parrot that the widower's wife used to have) that it's barely worth noting. The film takes some great people, gives them a mediocre script and a strange attitude where you're supposed to feel emotionally close to the characters and beats it into the ground.

Don't believe the pretty poster. This isn't a light comedy or something to gently pass the time with. It's a fairly depressing and misguided tale that wishes it were more important than it really is.
