Movie Review by Movie Addict
July 4th, 2009

Favorite Movie Quote: "Perhaps the sight of beauty makes him lose control of himself, so he kills."

Boy, did heads turn all over the room when Nicole (Ariana Gorini) discovered that the murdered Isabella (Francesca Ungaro) had a diary. Could that be the killer's motive? Bava creates an adult slasher film that gives us a high body count. But, it is not just body count, as he treats each murder as a work of art.

Poor Nicole should have given that diary up. Too bad she died for nothing as Peggy (Mary Arden) had already stolen it from her.

She burned the diary, but that did not save her.

The body count rises and the prime suspect is in jail at the time of the last murder. Ah, yes, it's all about money, and the answers are reveled. But, will there be a double-cross? The ornate sets, the brilliant color, the outstanding cinematography, and the suspense all make this an outstanding film.

A perfect ending.
