Mushy but nice.
Favorite Movie Quote: "I don't want fat kids with turned up noses."
I saw this movie in a snowstorm recently while visiting in Edmonton AB Canada. The movie is a bit long, it is nice to see the great phillip seymour hoffman in a bit role and tina fey as well, what is with jennifer garner's lips I still wonder to this day, and man is she skinny, typical of today's young female actresses. This is a typical love story where Ricky Gervais is the underdog and his rival is played by Rob Lowe. The movie is touching, you feel for Mr. Gervais, but there is nothing new or original here, it's been done before in other stories with similar plots. It was great to hear old songs in the soundtrack by ELO and Supertramp, other than that I would say rent it, but if you want to get out and see a movie with no surprises then go see 'the invention of lying.'

| See I love Ricky Gervais in "the office" (the english one) and his stand up rocks but he just seems to fall flat in movies, could be just me but Ghost World was pretty crap too. |
