Movie Review by Lloyd
September 19th, 2009

Nothing original.

After deciding not to see the movie WHITEOUT, I saw 9, a short fast paced animated movie produced by tim burton. A dark apocalyptic movie where these dolls or figurines if you will, talk, and try to find out who they are, their purpose and what they are supposed to do, as well as finding out why this mad machine is after them. Good sound in a good theater, it was a challenge to match the voices with each number, other than that rent the movie, there is nothing original about this movie regardless of what the reviewers say, it is not bad but if you were expecting more you're not going to get it. The only thing I got was the song that they use during the trailer of the film, 'Welcome Home' by Coheed & Cambria, I bought it on itunes. So there. I give the movie '9' only 2 stars.

Jethro,
I liked the trailer, I like tim burton and I wanted to see it; I gave it only 2 stars because the story was nothing special and I expected more from the film but I got nothing, the movie was short and since it flew by swiftly we were out of there in a hurry.
Now here is the weird part, yet another movie is coming out and it is called Nine, not to be confused with this movie '9'. Weird.

Lloyd - You know what's even more weird about the #9, besides it being the title of 2 recent movies? We are now into the 9th month of the year and these 2 movies were released in this 9th month. And that makes three 9's in a row. And you know what happens when you turn these three 9's around and upsidedown? You get 666! Now, isn't that WEIRD!!??

By the way, no hard feelings about you deleting my original comment. That seemed a bit dramatic considering that it was harmless. But thanks for your comments, anyways.

Jethro,

I deleted the message because I did not want to cloud up the comments page, nothing personal.

We are in a 9 year but if u know numerology like me, you have to add the numbers to get one number, so technically it is a 2 year number we are in, add 2+0+0+9=11, then 1+1=2, so really we are in a 2 number year that happens to be a master number.

I am a minister's son so 666 and the book of Revelations frighten me, but I love horror movies!!

This obsession of the number 9 is freaking me out by the way, weird; no let's see if the other movie coming out, 'Nine' will do better than '9', confusing.
