Whatever you do. Do not take your girlfriend to see this. This is a movie for people with a crude sence of humour. The kind of thing my parents would be shocked that i had sat and watched. If they ask. I went to see "Ice age 3."
As a straight dude i am finding it hard to figure it out whether to recommend this or not. In alot of ways it was terrible, way to dependent on shocking people instead of making them genuinly laugh (so much so alot of people walked out, which is understandable) but i was also laughing ALOT throughout the movie.
Me and my mate rushed to see this because aparently this "18" movie is getting some stuff cut out of it and being made a "15" next week (These are the age restrictions in the UK by the way) So we realy wanted to see the full "uncut" version. I cant help but think the "15" version will be better as this often felt like a bit much for me, and i'm not alone, as people left in droves.
Shocking though it is (and it realy is!) if you can get through the awful piss poor first half hours obsession with c*ck and ass jokes, you'll find yourself watching a hilareous film. I think this is because the best moments of Sacha Baron Cohens are when he is taking the piss out of the general public, and these moments are done better in the later parts of the movie, which you will only get to if you can tolerate the begining. In other words. Dont walk out!
Obviously trying to top the awesome "Borat" has been a task as this followup realy overdoes it trying to place Cohen in dangerous situations, but there is no argument to the fact that Cohen deserves his popularity and has balls of steel! and if you want to see something that is at least is memorable. Here it is!
