A cool concept.
Favorite Movie Quote: "What's my name? f*ck your mother. That's my name!"
I found this one in the cheap section at Blockbuster video. For such a big cast I was surprised that I had never heard of it. It turned out to be a pretty cool flick.
You have 5 men which awake one by one in a warehouse. They include Barry Pepper, James Caviezel, Greg Kinnear and Joe Pantoliano. The quickly realize that some of them are kidnappers and some of them are victims being held for ransom but none of them can remember who they are because of a gas leak that gave them short term memory loss. They do know that the other kidnappers are coming soon to possibly kill the hostages but the 5 men do not know who the hostages are so they all start working together to get free.
The problem is that the warehouse has been converted to a small fortress with no way to get out. Tensions rise as people start accusing each other of being the bad guys and its a race to figure out what the hell is going on.
Its a pretty entertaining movie...I would compare it with a little Saw meets the Usual Suspects. Lots of twist towards the end and an ending that is left a little unexplained.
I did not think any of the cast gave their best performances but my favorite was Greg Kinnear. I almost always get annoyed with James Caviezel usually I cant stand to watch him act..he just gets on my nerves with the sound of his voice but he wasn't unbearable in this flick. Worth a rental to watch once I couldn't imagine you wanting to watch this one over and over.
