Movie Review by Zara
March 4th, 2009

Most definitely a flick for only the fans of the comic book (I only liked Linda Carter on the previous live-action television show), this is a dry version of Wonder Woman's origins that did manage to open my eyes to some facts that I didn't know about. (For instance, she's a baby made of clay. Who woulda thunk?)

However, as much as I wanted to watch this for its slew of famous names doing the voices, I found it distracting that it was Keri Russell voicing Diana, since there's no way in hell she'd ever be Wonder Woman on screen live. I liked Nathan Fillion best as the womanizing pilot that she has to take back to civilization and Rosario Dawson as the biggest Amazonian warrior who really sounded into the part, but to be frank, I only made it about 5/6ths of the way through the thing before I was bored with it. I haven't really wanted to watch cartoon movies constructed like this for a long time. I guess the little kid in me is starting to get older.

It was cool to hear you ask, "So Wonder Woman is made of clay?" with a disapointed look on your face.

I thought it was funnier when you complained about me getting up and not watching it from the couch half way through.
