Movie Review by Zara
July 27th, 2009

This has been told over and over and over again in the past with similar looking people playing the same generic roles. There's the no-name guy who's not supposed to be memorable but gets drawn into a big mystery, the big bad guy who works for the military, the other guy who used to be bad and used to work for the military but is now working independently for another singularly rich dude instead of his country.

There really isn't anything all that memorable about this movie other than the fact that it's another one on the pile of several that are like it. HOWEVER... all that said, this movie has some good people. If you took Shane West and his cynical little sideways glances, took Ving Rhames' burly anger and took Ed Burns non-scary appearance... well, take away Burns.

My point is, as a collective, this was a decent cast who took what could have been complete and utter crap and turned it into something mediocre. Sure, you know what's coming right before it happens and sure, you've seen it all before (think EAGLE EYE and you've got a pretty good idea of the concept of Big Brother being able to control us), but still... it's one of those movies which is acceptable enough to be worth a hour plus of wasted afternoon time.
