Ye this is a pretty standard horror movie that has only realy been successful because its written by "Batman begins" and "Dark knight" scripter David S Cowan. That and it'll probably seem a hell of alot better than it is to the 15 year old audience it is aimed at, an audience that has barely seen any other horror movies.
There are some sh*t scarey bits in this, like the opening, in which star Odette Yustman (who is hot as f*ck and will hopefully get a chance to appear in films better than this in the future) while out jogging comes across some weird dog like creature with a mask on. This and the later scene in which an old man at a retirement home chases an old lady at a retirement home is pretty creepy, but overall the film relys to much on little boy ghosts, and creepy crawlys to be altogether memorably terrifying. That would be unoriganal as it is, but throw in an exorcism at the end and the film becomes a bit to much like, oh, lets say "The Exorcist!" Ok so its a Jewish exorcism, that makes it different. Oh but hang on theres that crap twist ending that so many horror movies have at the end of them. Thats made the film just like the hundred other horror films that have been out recently now, and so, not realy that good.

| I'm getting so sick and tired of horror movies these days. All these stupid twist endings to them are all just bulls.h.i.t! |
