Movie Review by Lloyd

SUPERB!

Favorite Movie Quote: "Hi Kid, you grew up."

KUDOS for kate winslet for her nudity scenes here, unlike other actresses espcially american actresses who use body doubles or adamant and say that they will not ever do nude scenes.
I did not know the entire story of the book/movie and that is good, it made me love the movie even more. Nowadays it is rare to see an intelligent intellectual movie but you have one here in 'the reader.'
Not only is Kate Winslet superb, Ralph Fiennes does a terrifc job as the adult character michael berg, the lovely and talented Lena Olin is terrific in here as well and it is great to see the terrific Bruno Ganz after all of these years playing the law professor.
At times this movie sometimes moves a bit slow, and it is hard to believe that it is only 2hr.and 3min. but when you get into the story and you are sucked into it, when it ends you wish it had continued. I love this movie and cannot wait to add it to my DVD Collection. 'The Reader.'
