Doubt
"Doubt" this was a very good movie however, I did not like the ending. A Catholic Priest Father Brendan Flynn played by Phillip Seymour, is a suspect in taking advantage of one of the young students who also is an alter boy that was attending a Catholic School. Two Sisters, one of whom was the principle Sister Aloysius played by Meryl Streep, was strongly suspicious of Father Flynn and she made no secret about it. Sister James played by Amy Adams, also noticed odor on the breath of the alleged abused alter boy. The story go's on about Father Flynn declaring his innocence but to no avail from Sister Aloysius. Sister Aloysius was so strong in her suspicion that the priest had to transfer to another position in another church. The ending of the story showed Sister Aloysius having strong doubt about the whole thing, this did not make sense. She was so strong in her convictions all throughout the story and suddenly she had strong doubts. I think the ending was out of order. If you have strong doubts about something like this you should have more evidence before you reveal the problem. The movie is well acted and the story line is o.k. I give this movie three bags of popcorn out of five bags.
